This course will cover both the desktop and online versions of QuickBooks, Intuit's accounting software for small businesses. The class will have a teaching component and an opportunity for hands-on practice. You’ll learn about setting up and creating a company, modifying the chart of accounts, working with multiple lists, invoicing, processing payments, working with bank accounts and bank/credit card reconciliation, entering and paying bills, customizing forms, creating reports and graphs, tracking and paying sales tax and preparing payroll. A basic understanding of computers and accounting knowledge is recommended for this class.
