This class will give you knowledge that may help you save a life. We’ll cover the basics of first aid, the most common life-threatening emergencies, how to recognize them, and what to do. You’ll learn how to recognize when CPR is needed, how to get assistance, and how to perform CPR. We’ll also cover how to use an AED (automated external defibrillator). Certification will be issued after successful completion of the class.

OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Training

This 10-hour course will introduce students to OSHA policies, procedures, standards and general industry safety and health principles. Topics for this course will include Occupational Safety and Health Act(OSHA), general duty, walking and working surfaces, electrical hazards, hazardous materials, personal protective equipment, machine guarding and hazard communication. Upon successful completion of this course participants will receive an OSHA General Industry Safety and Health 10-hour card. The course counts as 1.0 CEU.

CPR for Healthcare Providers (BLS)

The HeartSaver Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Course will teach you the foundation for saving lives due to cardiac arrest. You'll learn the necessary skills to provide effective cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for victims of all ages and in a wide variety of settings. This course focuses on what healthcare rescuers need to know to perform CPR, both as a single rescuer and as part of a multi-rescuer team. You will also learn how to correctly respond to choking emergencies and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Certification will be issued after successful completion of the class.
