The HeartSaver Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Course will teach you the foundation for saving lives due to cardiac arrest. You'll learn the necessary skills to provide effective cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for victims of all ages and in a wide variety of settings. This course focuses on what healthcare rescuers need to know to perform CPR, both as a single rescuer and as part of a multi-rescuer team. You will also learn how to correctly respond to choking emergencies and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

Certification will be issued after successful completion of the class.

In this one-day workshop, you’ll learn the first steps to create and develop Excel worksheets and workbooks in order to work with and analyze the data that is critical to the success of many organizations. You will learn: how to use Excel to perform calculations; modify a worksheet; format a worksheet; print, save, and share worksheets. This class is most effective for students wanting the knowledge to accomplish basic workplace tasks in Excel, or to gain a solid foundation for continuing on to become an Excel expert! This workshop is also a great place to start if you are thinking about taking the Microsoft Office Specialist exam, though more classes are needed to be fully prepared to take the exam. Familiarity with computers and Microsoft Windows are needed for this class.

You’ll work with water mixable oil-based paints and learn how to use only 4 colors arranged in 4 values and intensities. This 3-day course provides instruction on how to use the desktop version of QuickBooks, Intuit's accounting software for small businesses. The class is designed to teach you how to use features and give you an opportunity for hands-on practice. Students will learn about setting up and creating a company, modifying the preset chart of accounts, working with multiple lists, setting up inventory, invoicing, processing payments, working with bank accounts, entering and paying bills, customizing forms, creating reports and graphs, tracking and paying sales tax and preparing payroll. A basic understanding of computers and accounting knowledge is recommended for this class.

This one-day class provides students with a high-level overview of project management essentials. This class will help you develop a working definition of project management and identify knowledge requirements for project managers. We’ll also explore key interpersonal skills needed for effective project management, such as communicating, leading, motivating, problem solving, decision making, and influencing. The goal of this class is to help you gain confidence and learn how to effectively apply this knowledge as a project manager or project team member. This is a beginner level class with no project management experience needed, but it would also serve as a solid refresher for those with some experience.
